St. Joe’s Café

This place was an amazing find. Off the beaten path, and clearly a regular haunt with morning customers, a small, cute, tucked away café. Populated by construction workers, truck drivers, and businessmen, with a small bar and not much seating. Made to order lattes and breakfast sandwiches were their claim to fame, as well as their famous bennies. An efficient barista turned out coffee after coffee made to order. Alternate milks and syrups for lattes were available. Another rare treat, they had gluten free bread!  I was able to enjoy a huge and delicious sandwich! We got bennies (not available in gluten free) and they were unbelievable. Also made to order, warm, and available in a variety of flavors. They did a booming lunch business as well. We would definitely go back!
