Mother Mash

This was our first meal out in London. We went out after taking a nap in our AirBnB and walked to this location. It is very small, so we were lucky to get in. We did get to eat by the window and look out which was amazing, to eat whilst looking at the streets of London. Their main claim to fame is their Bangers and Mash obviously. But you can pick different kinds and flavors of mashed potatoes from the classic, to the bubble and squeak, which is what my husband got. The same goes for the bangers – choice of classic to vegan, and lots in between. We both loved our choices.

They have gluten free and dairy free options. They also offer pies, and salads. For dessert we had their sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and it was delectable. They had many alcoholic drinks to partake of as well, but as my husband and I are not partakers, we enjoyed some of their Fentimans botanically brewed soft drinks, including ginger beer which was sharp and classic. Overall, the atmosphere of the restaurant, the friendly wait staff, the uniquely British and scrumptious food, and the view made this an amazing first dining experience in London. I highly recommend.
